Our Pemuteran taxi service is run by local drivers, on private transfers between Pemuteran or Menjangan and anywhere in Bali. Every fare below is for the whole car, so a couple pays the same as a family of four.
The drivers speak good English, know the island properly rather than just the route, and the vehicles are clean and maintained. Prices are fixed before you set off. There is no meter and no negotiating at the roadside. If you still need somewhere to stay up here, see where to stay in the area.

Every route runs the other way too. We collect from the airport, Ubud or anywhere else in Bali and bring you north.

Bali distances are short. The driving is not
A Pemuteran taxi starts on the far north west corner of the island. Nothing in the south is close, and the roads that get you there are single carriageway, busy with trucks and slow through every village.

Before you travel
- FlightsGive yourself a wide margin for a flight out of Ngurah Rai. Traffic in the south is the variable, not the distance.
- CashPayment is to the driver at the end of the journey. Bring rupiah in notes.
- LuggageFour passengers with four large cases will not fit. Tell us the bags as well as the people.
- Child seatsNot standard in Bali. Ask when booking if you need one and we will tell you what is possible.
- DivingIf you are flying out after diving, leave at least 18 hours between your last dive and take off, and plan the transfer around that.
- Long drivesThe southern and eastern runs are long. Say if you want a stop for food or a view.
